Marriage investigation #59-3 notes that Diego Flores de Abrego and Juan Martinez Guajardo were brothers. The marriage investigations normally did not distinguish between full siblings and half siblings (i.e., sharing only one parent) so it is my conclusion that Diego Flores de Abrego and Juan Martinez Guajardo were half brothers with Isabel Flores de Valdes being the mother of both. This means that Isabel Flores de Valdes had two spouses who were also the namesakes of their respective sons (further adding to the confusion). I am not sure which husband came first, Diego Flores de Abrego or Juan Martinez Guajardo, but I am assuming it was Juan Martinez Guajardo based on the known marriage and death dates of some of the children and grandchildren.
