Antonia Molina recalled that Pilar Rodriguez had a brother named Florencio and that this was the same Florencio Rodriguez who lived at La Encantada. Florencio was a goatherder for Ponciano Longoria. My father Raul Longoria thought that Florencio had come from La Grulla and had brought with him the goats and sheep for the Santa Rita ranch.

After Concepcion Villarreal died, he left 50 acres to his second wife, Guadalupe Rodriguez, the daughter of Florencio Rodriguez. Florencio however had his name put on the deed. The 50 acres were originally at "Santa Ysabel", but Florencio traded those for 50 acres from Celso Villarreal; these are the current 50 acres owned by Florencio's heirs.
