Seabury indicates that Lucas Eduardo married Mariana Vela in 1791, or later, and that he married Maria Francisca Garcia on March 8, 1811. If Seabury is correct in saying that Manuel Villarreal, in his will, stated that his mother was Maria Francisca Garcia, then her marriage date must be in error.

Seabury shows no children for Lucas Eduardo's marriage with Mariana Vela; he does indicate that Mariana was the daughter of Salvador Vela.

A thorough research of the will of Manuel Villarreal is required in order to eliminate all the inconsistencies in the data from Seabury and Ancestry.com. Until then, I am assuming that Manuel's mother was Mariana Vela, and that Seabury was incorrect. Parents: Lucas Eduardo de VILLARREAL and Mariana VELA.
