Marriage investigation #40-21 notes that she is a sister of Diego Flores de Valdes, implying she is the same Luisa Flores de Valdes who married Joseph de la Fuente. Marriage investigation #46-6 makes the same implication by noting that she is a sister of Isabel Flores de Valdes. I have yet to find any other information indicating Luisa Flores de Valdes was married twice but it seems quite likely that was the case and I am making that assumption here. Furthermore, from the dates of the marriage investigations, I am assuming that Lucas de Farias was her first husband. Parents: Capt. Rodrigo FLORES de Valdes and Maria Isabel de Trevino SALAZAR (aka Maria de Trevino).

Apparently this proposed marriage never took place because on December 3, 1699 there was another Marriage Investigation conducted for the proposed marriage of Maria Flores to Marcos de Villarreal. Maria Flores was still noted to be a doncella (maiden) in this second investigation, thus indicating she had not married before. Parents: Alferez Marcos FLORES and Ana de AYALA (aka Ana de Valle).
