Ernesto CANTU was born on February 28, 1947. He died on November 20, 1967 in Vietnam. Ernesto Cantu was killed in Vietnam while serving his country during the Vietnam War. On November 20, 2004, 37 years after his death, the stretch of highway running through the middle of Ernesto's hometown of Encino, Texas, was renamed the Errnesto Cantu Highway in his memory and honor. He was the only Encino resident to be killed in the Vietnam War. Parents: Santos CANTU and Maria Magdalena SOLIS.
