Francisca FLORES de ABREGO^97,104 died before 17 September 1710.¹⁰⁴ Marriage investigation #17-7 (in Saltillo on July 2, 1714) notes that she was the daughter of Tomas Flores but does not give the name of her mother. However, marriage investigation #44-8 (in Santiago de la Monclova on November 23, 1700) notes that her father was named Nicolas Flores, whom I believe to be the brother of Tomas Flores. This is an obvious contradiction but because this marriage investigation #44-8 is for her son named Tomas Flores de Valdes, I am assuming that Francisca's father was indeed Tomas.

A more recent discovery ("Miscellaneous Marriage Investigations" by Raul J. Guerra, Los Bexareños Genealogical Register, September 30, 2010) of a marriage investigation for Agustin Flores and Maria Gomes [Gomez] conducted in Saltillo on September 17, 1710, shows one of Francisca's parents as being Thomasa Flores, child of Leonor Gutierrez whose sister was Maria de Abrego. However, this Leonor Gutierrez was married to Lorenzo Garcia and I have found no record of her marrying a Flores. Leonor did have a sister named Melchora who was married to a Pedro Flores, and Melchora did have a son named Tomas Flores who married Maria de la Cerda.

It seems reasonable to assume mistakes were made in writing down the names of Francisca's ancestors. Despite the inconsistencies in the three different marriage investigations, it seems likely that Francisca was a legitimate daughter and that her parents were Tomas Flores and Maria de la Cerda.
