Spouse: Juan LOPEZ de Olivas. Juan LOPEZ de Olivas and Isabel de URDINOLA were married on April 3, 1659.
Isabel de URDINOLA y LOYS died about 1661. She made her last will and testament on October 22, 1660; on February 15, 1661, her son-in-law General Luis de Valdes requested an inventory of her estate due to her death. I am assuming she died in early 1661. Isabel de Urdinola lived with her first husband in Rio Grande, Zacatecas; upon her second marriage she moved to live in Parras y Patos; upon the death of her second husband she went to live in Hacienda de Bonanza.
She made her last will and testament on October 22, 1660, and left the Hacienda San Francisco de los Patos, Hacienda de la Castanuela and Hacienda de la Carbonera to her two granddaughters Francisca de Valdes and Maria de Alcega y Urdinola. Parents: Francisco de URDINOLA and Leonor Lopez de LOYS.

Maria de UZCANGA. It may be that Maria de Uzcanga is the same person I show as Maria Duran in this database. In marriage investigation #39-18, page 171, a notation indicates that "Maria de Vzcanca is related to Juana de la Garza in the second degree 'pro copula illicita'", indicating that Maria de Vzcanga and Juana de la Garza were first cousins through an illegitimate relationship. Maria de Duran was married to Francisco Sanchez, son of Juan Sanchez and Maria de la Barrera; Maria de Duran was also a second cousin of Juana de la Garza by virtue of her mother Catalina de Trevino being an illegitimate child of Joseph de Trevino, brother of Juana de la Garza's grandmother. The degree of relationship with Juana de la Garza is not the same for Maria de Uzcanga and Maria Duran but it is similar enough to warrant further research.

Catalina de VALDES. Jose Jaime Longoria's transcription of the original document (the expediente approving passage of Lorenzo Suarez de Longoria to the New World) resulted in the following interpretations of her name as given by 3 different witnesses:
1) Cas_a [NDZ]
2) Cas_a NDZ
3) Cas_a [NDZ?] [MEZ?]
Cas_a is probably an abbreviation for Catalina, and the NDZ or MEZ abbreviations are probably of the husband's surname. Because Alonso de la Pontiga, Lorenzo Suarez de Longoria, and all 3 witnesses all gave the name of Lorenzo's mother as Inez Valdes I am assuming that Inez's mother's name was Catalina de Valdes.

Feliciana de VALDES. Apparently Francisco Flores and Juana Sanchez had two daughters named Feliciana. The first Feliciana died before November 21, 1710 because her husband was shown as a widower on the marriage investigation for his second marriage. My guess is that Francisco Flores and Juana Sanchez had another daughter sometime after the first Feliciana died and named this youngest child Feliciana in memory of her older sister. Parents: Capt. Francisco FLORES de Valdes (aka Francisco Valdes) and Juana SANCHEZ.

I an not linking Juan Sanches de Valdes as a son of Diego Flores de Valdes until I can determine who his mother was.
