Tiburcio RODRIGUEZ was born about 1830 in Texas. His headstone in the El Lucero cemetery gives his age as 97 years when he died on November 8, 1927, indicating he was born about 1830. However, the 1920 Census gives his age as 50 and the 1920 Census gives his age as 70, indicating he was born about 1850. His death certificate states he was about 101 years old. I am assuming his headstone is the most accurate as to his age. He died on November 8, 1927. The 1900 Census indicates he immigrated to Texas in 1860; however, the 1920 Census indicates he immigrated in 1869. However, since his daughter Paula was born in Mexico about 1877 and his next child Luciana was born in Texas in 1881, I think it more likely he immigrated to Texas between 1878 and 1881.
