Considering that the Census notes that the father Joseph Antonio had been killed by Indians but not knowing the exact date of his death, it may be that Venancio was born within a few months after the Census was taken. However, if Maria Catarina was not pregnant at the time of her husband's death, then it is possible that "Remancio" could actually be "Venancio", the same person shown in Texas General Land Office records as Francisco Venancio Villarreal, whom I have assumed was the same person shown in the 1750 Census simply as Francisco (see narrative for Francisco Venancio Villarreal in this family).
